Number 6: In one week from tomorrow I will be sitting on the plane to France! Well, not actually.. I have a few connecting flights and some long layovers until I reach my final destination in Toulouse. But hey, it’s basically the same thing, right?  Early next Wednesday morning I fly from PHL Airport to Washington Dullus Airport in D.C. to meet up with all the other American exchange students who are going to France. It will be nice to meet all the other exchangers and even hopefully find a few who will be in Toulouse with me! =] The only bad part is the looonng layover in D.C. The flight doesn’t leave until about 6:00 in the evening meaning I will be stuck in the airport for about six hours before I head off to Paris. Atleast it will give me some good quality time to meet all the outbounds to France! After the flight to Paris, I then have to wait another three hours in the airport until my next flight to my final destination. Luckily the flight from Paris to Toulouse is only about an hour and a half so it shouldn’t be so bad. Anyway, despite the long day that awaits me, I am SO SO SO excited to go! It has finally hit me that I’m leaving and that I won’t be back in the United States until next year. Weird isn’t it? However, amongst all my excitement, I’m still sad knowing that I won’t see my family and friends for a really long time. This past Sunday, my family had a bon voyage party for me so all my friends and family members could say their ”au revoirs.” It gets me upset knowing that I won’t be seeing them but at the same time I have this excited feeling about the journey ahead that awaits me. Lots of mixed emotions, huh? Although I havn’t officially packed yet, I have started to get some things together…( and by that I mean dumping my whole closet on the floor! hahaah kidding). No, but it’s actually quite hard to pack for a year, especially being a girl who feels like they need to bring everything. Packing for different temperatures and climates while trying to fit it all into two suitcases is a hard thing. Trust me. I already know that I will be having to ship things back and fourth because i just can’t bring it all. Besides just trying to get prepared by packing, theres still a ton of things for me to do here before i leave. It’s a lot of work! With only one week left, theres still so much left to do. Hopefully I’ll get it all done in time!

Okay, I’m off! I’ll write more later!
