Post five: In exactly one month from today, on Aug 25, I will be out of here! I can’t believe how quickly time has flown since I first decided to do this, and I’m positive this next month will be even faster. I haven’t officially started to pack yet because I am going on a family vacation to florida and a caribbean cruise for two weeks but after that I really have to crack down. However, I have started to pick up some things for my host families to give as presents as well as start to think about what I need. It’s going to be tough to fit all my stuff in just 2 suitcases so I will definitely have to ship things back and forth. I also can’t be sharing clothes with my mom anymore so were going have to send things back and forth between each other! AHH! I have also already started to say my goodbyes to some of my friends and it’s weird to think that I won’t see some of them for a year. However as hard as it may be, the experiences I will gain out of next year will be well worth it. I have even found some people on facebook who will be going to Toulouse thru Rotary and it’s nice knowing that I will already know some people going in to my exchange year. We also just recently hosted a boy from France for 10 days who lives in a small town an hour from Paris. It’s good to know that I’ll have some people in France to go to incase of any problems or just to visit. And finally, although it’s not totally official yet, I have received my plane flights. I fly from the Philadelphia airport to Washington DC to Paris and then finally to Toulouse. It will be a long flight but definitely worth it!
